Usage data

We automatically collect limited technical information such as your browser type, IP address, and pages visited within Birthdaywishi. This is used solely to improve the service and diagnose errors.

How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To operate and maintain your Birthdaywishi account
• To send automated birthday and work anniversary reminder emails on your behalf
• To deliver greeting card emails to your employees when you send them
• To respond to your support requests and messages
• To improve, personalise, and expand our service
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse
• To send you service-related notifications (not marketing, unless you opt in)

We will never use your data or your employees' data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to running your celebration reminders.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We apply industry-standard security measures including:

• TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted storage for all sensitive fields
• Access controls limiting which personnel can view your data
• Regular security reviews and vulnerability patching

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take every reasonable step to protect your information.

Birthdaywishi is a professional HR tool intended for use by adults in a business context. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@birthdaywishi.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Birthdaywishi after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
